I am an MD with Graduate training in Biochemistry. I have been watching with interest as my wife goes through the WITS course at our local community college. I have been impressed with the course material and the depth and intensity of the didactic sessions. The course is short but intense. It seems to me that it represents a good foundation upon which to build a career. She has not completed the internship yet, but already has a job offer from a well respected local facility. There seems to be no lack of internship opportunities in our area.

It definitely is a good class. They cover a lot in a short amount of time. I never did the internship and I doubt I'll pursue a career in fitness at this point, but I'm glad I took the class. I learned a lot that I use in my every day life.
