New Guy
Hello All,
I have just graduated with a BS in Exercise Science. I am looking at taking the HFS and been trying to do some research on the HFS and CSCS. I have found much information on the CPT test for ACSM but not for the HFS. Anyone here taken the HFS recently? Also, what type of study time frame am I looking at before taking the test? I took some time to study abroad and it has been a 1+ since taking any ACSM/ NSCA courses in school. I was under the impression that you study for a few weeks and take the test. After reading some of the posts about the CPT test I feel that there is a little more studying involved, especially if I plan to take the HFS.
I would appreciate any advice!
Thanks,
Zack

Hi Zack, and welcome to the Fitness ThinkTank!
Did you happen to see this post under Advanced Credentials? ACSM Health Fitness Specialist Exam: A review (scroll to the top to see breakdown of the exam)
Quite a bit of info on the HFS exam. I think you are right about it being pretty intense -- I've gathered that from what I've read about it. Also, feel free to send Adam a private message to start a dialogue.
Congrats on getting your degree and good luck!
