Hi Amy and welcome. Which cert are you going for?
Christina
Hey everyone,
I am in the process of getting certified and just wanted to introduce myself to everyone.
I live in Northern California and am really looking forward to learning from everyone on here. I already have a ton of questions that I could use answers to and will post in appropriate places on site.
Thank you,
Amy

If you have a question about personal training please post it on the forum instead of sending me an email or private message. Chances are your questions will help someone else. Thanks!
Hi Amy
I teach /certify personal trainers. you have a lot of options. believe this form has a review of the different certs. Id say find a cert that is reputable, teaches you what you need to know for the real world, is accepted at different gyms and one that is in your budget and is easy to get re-certified.
I'm usually not a fan of getting many different certs from different organizations. that's because the more certs you have the more you have to pay each org to get re certified. Also, the "credits" of one cert may not count as much for anther cert. most certs do recognize other organizations and accept at least a portion of their credits.
whatever you choose, always remember this fact; your future clients will probably never ask you who you are certified by. they only care if you can help them, are credible in the information you give them and are professional.
let me know if you have any other questions
