Hey Kendra - the biggest thing that will give you an edge in the market is actually getting out there and doing some marketing!
Start making some deals, finding good locations to train out of, and think of how you're going to reach your potential customers -
Most of your differentiation will depend on how you position your services -what's your specialty? - what's your message? - why are you different?
Took me a while to figure all of this out, but once I did this job became pretty easy for me -
