    Default Machine Resistance Exercises

I'm trudging through the CPT Exam Content Description Booklet and have come the section on machine resistance exercises. There are questions relating to adjusting the pads to accommodate clients, hydraulic/air machines, range of motion, etc. The only problem is, I can not find answers relating to this stuff. Its not in the Technique manual or the Essentials of Personal Training. Any thoughts from anyone?

I'm looking at the 2005 edition of the Exercise Technique Manual and it looks like most of the seated machine exercises have "Check marks" under the "Starting Position" heading on how to adjust the machine, exercise range of motion, and body positioning.

I think you'll find a recurring theme on most of the machine exercise set ups!

    Good Luck,
