It sounds as if you're well prepared for the exam. Good luck!

Also, I have retaken all 3 pretests and am averaging about 88-93% on all of them. I have been studying REALLY hard for 3 months, 2-4 hours a day. I have also taken all of the tests at the end of the cd's, and am also averaging about 85%. I am really starting to feel pretty confident in the last week or so. These previous questions are the areas I struggle in. If I can get these down, I think I will be set! I was actually supposed to take the test today, but rescheduled for next Friday!![]()

Hi Christina, I was wondering if the table 15.3 worked for doing the 1rm backwards, such as this...
A clients 10RM is the bench press is 150lbs, which of the following is the clients estimated 1RM?
175
200
230
250
Could you help me figure this one out? Thanks!
Yes. I am off to bed now but I will answer this tomorrow.

great, I'll wait to here from you! Thanks![]()
When you go UP the chart (Table 15.3) you divide by "point whatever"
So...
The 10RM is 75% of the 1RM therefore 150/.75=200
On the flip side...
When you go DOWN the chart you multiply by "point whatever"
If, for example, the 1RM is 200 pounds, the 15RM is 65% of the 1RM. It would be 200 x .65 = 130

Just to give a little background:
This will be my 2nd time taking this test. The first time around I took a pencil/paper test and my score was 68/70 and it killed me when I read that I DID NOT pass it. The sad thing is that I had confidence that I passed with flying colors.
I went to a vocational school called NPTI and we actually studied from the NSCA, CPT book. I have read this book twice. You think I would have passed the first time around. I am a horrible test taker and hold anxiety!
Since then, I have been studying off and on for the past 2 yrs. The past 4 months have been more often, 4-5x a week, 2 hrs at a time. I even ended up buying the nsca study materials that came with 1 practice exam and cds. I feel ready but am confused with origin and insertion sites of certain muscles and need more practice with learning techniques with certain exercises.
I score between 65%-68% on the practice exam from book but with the cd questions, I score between 70%-90%. Either way, I am s/c'd to take a computer based exam in 5 days and can't extend it out any farther. It's at it's farthest already. I feel ready but struggle in some areas as far as exercise technique and on the client assessment section. Those 2 areas are what I mainly scored less on based off of the practice exam in book.
Any tips on how to wrap up everything before the BIG day?
Thanks
