    Default practice tests...

I averaged 75% the first time I took the 3 practice exams...studied what I needed to get better and then took them again a week later and was at a 92%. I am ready to roll, I just haven't been in school since 2001....so the thought of taking a long exam and needing a certain score makes you want to be overprepared.

You're going to pass. Being over prepared is NEVER a bad thing. Studying an entire textbook is very daunting and much tougher than being in a classroom setting in my opinion. At least in a classroom you have a professor who is available for questions.

If you get test anxiety (like I do) make sure you work out before you take the exam. The morning of my ACSM exam I went to the gym and rode 20 miles. It got rid of my excess energy and allowed me to focus. I highly recommend this to anyone who has test anxiety.

Good luck and let us know how you did! When are you going to take it?

I agree working out is a great idea! I would also bring ear plugs to the exam. you will probably be in a big room with over a hundred people. they will all be moving around, coughing etc. the ear plugs will be a God Send!
