Plain and simple: call NASM and sign up for the CPT eTeach class. It's an online class for 10 weeks with presentations, discussion boards, weekly quizzes, mid-term, final, a weekly discussion question, webinars, you have access via phone or email to the course directors anytime, they walk you through info each week, you get an incredible study guide in the last unit, etc. It's the only way to go. Don't try getting the book and buying all the add-ons that NASM wants you to buy...just buy this class (and the text, of course). You can "talk" to your classmates (we had Skype study groups), yada, yada, yada. I'm NOT good at all at standardized tests, but I nailed this one on the first try. If you try to study via the study guide that NASM (one of their reps) emails you, you'll find yourself memorizing the whole book. Pick 10 weeks in your life that you can devote to focusing on this material and you'll definitely get it done!!!
