Hey Gang,

I've got a friend who wants to lose body fat but maintain his strength level. I know that usually when you go on a "ripped" or "Body Fat reducing diet" you tend to lose strength but I am not sure of how much strength he could lose. (Would it be noticeable?)

Currently he is working out with weights 4 days a week and running up to 4 miles 3 days a week.

Have there been any studies correlating body fat loss with stregnth loss? Any hard evidence?

Thanks,

Dave
