It's been a while since I logged in here. Haha.

I recently took and passed the ACE Group Fitness Instructor test, and I'm selling the materials if anyone is interested. There's:
- The GFI Manual, great condition and I highlighted the important material while going through the chapters.
- Study Guide, good condition - I did a large portion of the book already, but it was lightly, in pencil, and I erased it fully now. The answers are in the back anyway if you want them. (That's why I didn't finish the book! Ha.)
- ACE GFI Sample Test and answer Key, perfect condition
- Anatomy & Human Movement Guide, perfect condition

I got an 88% with just this stuff, so there's no need to buy the $300 packages that ACE offers for its test.

I paid $154.69 for it all ($139.95 + $14.74 S&H), and I'm selling it for $135 total, including shipping to any of the 48 continental states. That saves you about $20, and you get the annotations in the manual which really saved me in reviewing the 400 page book.

If you're interested, shoot me an email at patrickhdonnelly@hotmail.com and we can arrange payment through PayPal.

Take care,
Patrick Donnelly

Hey Patrick,

Congrats on passing the test! I just got my materials (2nd ed. text, Master the Manual & sample test), or I'd have been interested.

You obviously did very well (congrats again!). I'm looking at taking the test around the beginning of May. How was it? Any tips?

Here's what I sent to someone who asked me the same question via email:
Quote:
The test I took asked only for very broad, basic knowledge, and focused on a few core concepts. I swear, there were about ten questions on how women should not to supine sit-ups after the 1st trimester of pregnancy (all worded slightly differently) and another ten asking the difference between teacher and student focused instructors (where a student focused one is always very easy to pick out, and is always better).

You've got plenty of time to study. Each chapter took me an average of 2 hours to read, including highlighting stuff as I went along, so try to budget your time accordingly. The main thing is just to not worry.
