Default R.E.P.s Level 3 credentials and UK CPTs

    Hi,

I'm new to the forums and the CPT world. I've been going to the gym for years and am looking at making the leap from a CPT (Army Captain) to a CPT (personal trainer).

Who would've thought those acronyms would be so different!

I'm studying for my ACE right now. I took a seminar through Gold's gym about 4 years ago but it was not NEARLY as comprehensive as the material in these books.

I just downloaded the anatomy flash cards on my iphone. Great app if anyone's interested.

On to the question: I plan on working in UK. I've talked to their certification authority and the REP (Register of Exercise Professionals) guys are saying the ACE, ACSM, NASM, and NSCA-CPT are all accepted over there.

Has anyone made the switch? Is it as easy as giving them your proof of certification or is there more to it? What other hurdles might I need to consider?

    Thanks for any info.

    Matt

    Default Nasm

    Hi
I took the NASM CPT distance learning course which worked out to be the cheapest way to do it and get a highly respected qualification
I think Premier still offer this course
