Default I have PT Cert from Foothill, do i go for ACE or NASM ?

    Hi all,

first of all, thank you for this forum, it helps in so many ways to all the aspiring PTs and those who are already in the business.

I just finished the Personal Trainer Certificate course thru Foothill community college, CA. They did have the exercise physiology, strength fitness, fitness assessment and Basic nutrition as part of the course. The book they used for the fitness assessment techniques was the one that is part of NASM CPT. I am very well aware of the major muscles, their functions and exercise that involves them. Also i am aware of the Anatomy and the planes of movements.

so my question was, should i go for the ACE or NASM certification? I have read here in many posts that ACE is for the entry or beginner lever certificate, where as i have already studied all those things as part of my certificate, so can i go for NASM cert ?

thank you in advance for your time and responses.
