Default Want to run a bootcamp...any ideas?

I'd like to break into the field by offering a kick-ass Bootcamp soon after being certified. Anyone have any ideas on how I should go about this? I'd like to be able to still do something outdoorsy this winter. Any ideas, suggestions?

I was thinking about buying this book http://fitforcecamp.com/bootcampworkouts.html by Jerry Hill. I dont really know who he is so Im a little suspect.

Im wide open for your input.

    Best,

    Jackson

    Hey Jackson,

I don't know about Jerry Hills product, but a guy that I am familiar with is Pat Rigsby

    http://thefitnessbootcamp.com/

He has a great "Personal Training Riches" enewsletter that is FREE, but doesn't detail the bootcamp stuff as much.

But I'm sure his bootcamp product would be worth it. Read his web page over and see how it compares to the other guy.

    All the best,

I was thinking the same thing for the spring and summer. With a boot camp you can have a session with a large amount of people and make more money than training an individual in the same amount of time. Also you would be offering people an outdoor alternative to the gym. It is definitely a good idea. My one problem would be finding an area that was large enough to use. Not sure if you can do something like this in a public area...

I do believe you can run the bootcamps in public areas but it must require the proper paperwork Im sure. Im planning to check into all of this. Im thinking about after taking the NSCA exam, getting crossfit certified so that I can run some sort of facility. I figured Id begin the process now to get the ball rolling.

Dave thanks for the link. I'll give that a look as Pat Rigsby's name is familiar to me. Perhaps I'll just buy both.

    Thanks,

    Jackson
