    Default Personal Training software

Hi i am a free lance trainer and have been for years. However, i recently started my business out of a local health club and was thinking about ordering personal training software to help me start up. I currently have no clients in this health club now. Is software worth the money or is it just a waste. And any suggestions on how to start bringing in clients would be a great help as well. I have never had to market myself or services in freelance training it was all done by word of mouth. Any help will be appreciated.

    Default Not for everybody

    Hi there,

I would say give a client management system a free try and see if it works for you. As you pick up clients it will be valuable to have everything organized and accessible. I'm a bit biased however as I run Smarter client management for personal trainers - Gympro. Drop us an email if you would like a free trial to see how it works out for you.

    Best,
    Aleks

I have been using PTN Trainer Online but after just checking out Gympro I might be a convert primarily because of cost I must say, as it appears they have a much cleaner interface and I like that.

One of my clients is using MindBodyOnline for their studio with great success. He goes on and on about how it helps him with scheduling and trainer management etc. I think it might be worth checking out, they are a reputable company, I think they have over 10,000 customers in the health and fitness industry that are using their software.

As far as marketing, it would be worthwhile to invest in some type of program that will teach you the fundamentals, especially in regards to marketing your business online, this is where I've seen the most ROI for my clients. (I'm a marketing consultant).

Let me know what software you decide on.
