Default Would you post this picture on your site?

I was browsing through some trainer's website and notice this picture of a client doing squats with one of the trainer from that site. Isn't just me or does her form look horrible. Seems like he didn't even do any assessment on her before throwing her under a weighted bar.

    Third picture down:

Would post a picture of a client squatting like this on your website?

    Hi Kevin,

Are you sure it is one of the trainers in the photo or is it a stock photo? In their defense, they were probably just posing for the photo and not worrying about form.

I can't say that I'm 100% sure but he looks a lot like the first trainer in the "About" tab. Regardless of whether or not its a stock photo. Would you put up a picture of a client squatting with that form on your site? I'm not saying that a novice would be expected to have perfect form but her form obviously needs some correcting and activation work but yet she's already being thrown under a weighted bar.

I think that even a posing picture should demonstrate appropriate form of any exercise especially when it's a technical exercise such as the barbell back squat unless you just want to look hardcore regardless of form. There seem to be some trainers out there that have all their clients squat just because they've been taught that its a great exercise. And it is but it may not be for everyone and a lot beginners need to have their weaknesses, physical limitations, and mobility evaluated and addressed to reduce any future potential injuries before they even start loading the weights.

NO!!! I would not post such a picture unless I was posting another picture showing me correcting her form-with no weight on her back!
