    Default Working hard for clients

Trainers and clients often time develop good friendships while working with each other over time.

It is easy for your brain to kinda get relaxed in a social sense which I think takes from the intensity of the workout. How do some of you stay focused on your clients goals?

To be perfectly honest in my experience the more I get to know my clients the harder I know I can push them with out over doing it, so I have not experienced what you are talking about.
On a side note I got a punisher t-shirt from one of my clients for Christmas if that tells you anything.

Chris, I know EXACTLY what you mean. The problem that I have with my clients (as I am sure is the same with most personal trainers) is that they end up viewing me as a friend (and vice versa). It is difficult for me a times to separate business from friendship, although I am getting MUCH better at it. I would love to hear how others keep their clients focused.
