    Default ACSM cPT Test?

hi, i am a Kinesiology major, and am interested in getting a CPT cert.

I am the type of person that no matter how prepared i am i get nervous, so the question i have is, how is the test, for those who have taken it?

I have a pretty good base knowledge, i have the ACSM certification review, and i took the ACSM practice exam and got a 86%, is that good?

    any help would be appreciated.

    thanks

    Hi and welcome,

I scored in the high 80s on the practice test and did very well on the actual exam. Granted, I studied the areas where I did not score perfect, but I would say you are ready for this exam.

I get test anxiety as well. Try exercising intensely before the exam. It will help you relax and stay focused.

    Good luck!

christina is once again giving excellent advice.
I always try to hit the gym as hard as I can before a test, interview, or any other situation i which my nerves may become rattled. It really does seem to calm nerves and put things into perspective. I plan on taking the practice exam 2 weeks prior to taking the actual test. Good Luck!
