New kid on the block here (not from the Band), based in Bradford England. I passed my gym instructor level 2 qualification a couple of months ago and have my PT course in september, after a 4 month case study I qulaify early next year.

I am working in a gym and loving it, I can't wait to really get moving for my new career, I watch our current PT's and have picked up lots of tips and advice. I have read all the threads on the board and there is a lot of great info (without the bitchiness of other boards).

I am 37 so you are never too young to start (its a bonus as I already have people asking for me for their first consultations by word of mouth and they seem to prefer someone closer to their own age - I want to work with older adults and special populations later down the line). Hopefully that will continue when I get to being a PT.

Just to say hello, and if I natter on too much tell me to be quiet.

Hey simmo961,

Welcome to the TANK!

We love to hear from our PT Brothers in England!

While we aren't 100% bitchy-free, we are hovering at a close 96% But we all have our issues, passions and bad days, so that's acceptable.

Looking forward to your contributions.

Dave
