Also make sure to read the articles that are posted on this site.

There are several things you need to get very clear about: Who your ideal client is (what makes them tick, what motivates them, what are their biggest challenges and pains), what makes you unique, and how to package that in order to draw people to you. Just because you are the only trainer that offers in-home training is NOT what makes you unique. Look within yourself and really tap into why people would love to work with you above anyone else in any other situation. People have other alternatives.

You then need to be able to combine these two important aspects of who you are into a message that will compel people to contact you. This is your 'audio logo' or 'elevator speech'. Short, to the point, and compelling.

But, above it all, if you are starting a business, you really need to spend the time and energy mapping out what your ultimate vision is for your business and what your goals and objectives are (thus, a business plan). Then map out HOW you will accomplish those goals and objectives (thus, a marketing plan).

You have an excellent opportunity before you! But take a step back and do your research and dig into your own soul and answer the questions above before you start really spreading your message.

As for specific WAYS to get your name out there, I know we've addressed this quite often on here, so you may have to scope the subject lines to learn some ideas that click with you.

Also, be sure to check out my book. It's exactly what you need right now, from start to finish.
