    Default How are you dressed?

You know what they say about clothes right? They make or break you!

I once heard it said that 95% of our first impression of someone is based on how
they're dressed - which makes sense because your clothes cover 95% of your body!

Nothing earth-shattering here right? But are you paying careful attention to it?
Because it is really freaking important!

Everything from your training rates, referrals, new inquiries, credibility, and client
retention can all be based on how you present yourself.

Even if you train clients in their homes, in a trainer's gym where you get no real new
inquiries, or in your private studio, your clothes are vital -

    I remember when I first started out as a trainer I didn't care about how I dressed - I
would wear whatever I felt like - my Air Force Ones, baggy sweatpants, jewelery,
    you name it -

I didn't realize that new and potential clients where making an immediate judgment
of my knowledge and credibility based solely on my appearance-

At a certain point something snapped, and I decided to start dressing like a REAL
trainer, and it changed everything. I started getting more inquiries than I could
handle, was able to charge whatever I wanted, and I got more respect -

So what to wear exactly? I wrote an article on this in a recent issue of PFP
Magazine - here's the really long link to my article:
    http://fit-pro.com/ME2/dirmod.asp?si...ABD77FD2DB5C97
You'll find a lot more info on the subject in there -

Don't dismiss this as simplistic - it can make all the difference!

    Great post!

    I couldnt agree more!

I still see so many trainers wearing unprofessional clothing to train their clients.

Its very easy to stand out from this type of crowd when you dress like a true professional.

I talk about avoiding some negative images as a trainer.

I talk a lot more about this stuff in The Whistleblower Report - http://super-trainer.com/reports/

Dressing professional is one of the topics I talk about in Personal Training Riches. I see way too many trainers walking around in unprofessional clothing. Some are absolutely skin tight.

Can you image a doctor walking into an appointment room dressed like one of these trainers.

As a PROFESSIONAL FITNESS TRAINER, who demands PROFESSIONAL FEES, it is a must to dress professionally.

    Dress for success!
