Default Utilizing public parks for business

What are the legal considerations for utilizing public property (park) for personal business purposes?

This will be different from state to state.

You definitely will have to inquire with the town's government (city council?) that keeps the park and see what the requirements are.

I know a good waiver will be needed for group instruction, but you may have to provide proof of insurance to the township/city council as well.

Good luck, let us know what you find out.

Honestly, unless it constitutes a nuisance, and unless there is an explicit ordinance against it, common law gives you pretty wide latitude as to your right to use public property. After all, it was purchased with your money.

I like how that sounds -

But yeah, make sure you have a good waver -

I love to train people outdoors and have kind of made it my specialty -

You'll find you'll get good client retention if you can pull this off well - and of course keep all the money -

There's another advantage of checking with the city (or whatever entity is in charge of the park) and that is networking!
