Default What type of attorney for my waivers?

What kind of lawyer do I need to contact to look over my waivers? I asked my best friend who is a lawyer and she would not give me a straight answer!

    Anyone know?

    Hey Christina,

If you have Liability Insurance, the company should supply their own waivers and you can modify them with your name and your companies name. I think this is probably the safest bet.

I know Fitpak.com has sample waivers on their website.

Other than that, I'm guessing a lawyer who deals in sports/events management may be good.

    Hope that helps,

Hi Dave and thanks for the info! When I asked my friend (the lawyer) who to contact she said it needs to be a lawyer in my state because the laws are different depending on where you live. That's why I am hesitant to use a general waiver. Are you using the waiver supplied by your insurer?
