    Default couples pricing

Okay, I've done some research and it looks like if you are training a "Husband and Wife Team" or 2 people at the same time, your hourly rate should be about 50% higher than if you were training one person alone.

    For example:
Your usual rate is $50 an hour, so you would train 2 people for $75 an hour.

I'm meeting with a husband and wife tomorrow night. I do not have "Couples" or "2 people" pricing on my website, because I didn't want to overwhelm the viewer with options. So do you think my reasoning above is fair?

Pat, Christina, Joe, and others what have you found to be the most effective formula for calculating this rate?

    Thanks in Advance,

    Dave

    Dave,

Where I live the hourly rate for some Personal Trainers are $75.00 an hour. Now that is also approx 1 hour away from me. Locally, it is a little less because of the area. Same state, different area, different styles.
And some trainers will quote $100 an hour for couples.
You are right by not wanting to overwhelm. Some people can't afford these rates and rather exercise by themselves or at a gym.
