Default Don't Forget to get "LinkedIN"

    http://www.linkedin.com/

the website above is sort of like a "Friendster" for professionals.

It's a great way to build your Sphere Of Influence (SOI) not only with fellow personal trainers, but with the clients you train as well as other peers.

It may help with getting new clients, finding a job, and/or finding an employee.

    Check it out!

I'm on LinkedIn. I'd love to connect with more Fitness professionals.

How do you make it work for you? What else can you do with it besides create a network and put up your qualifications/bio/work history and education?

Thats a great idea. Social networks of any kind can be a valuable resource in building your brand and making a name for yourself. It's just such a simple and effective way to get lots of exposure quickly.

I have been looking for local forums that people in my area post on. I've gotten some good leads from these forums. Check your local newspaper websites, see if they have blogs or forums where you can comment and talk with other people in your area.
I'm currently training in the Highlands Ranch are of Colorado. If you live or work near here and would like more information about hiring a personal trainer, please visit my website at:
