Do you guys have any books you recommend clients to read? There is not one theory I subscribe to wholeheartedly that I would recommend a client to read. I have a client, however, that did the Body for Life system a few years ago and it worked for him at the time (of course he gained his weight back and could not keep it up) so he is determined my approach should be the same as what he did years ago. There is so much out there and new stuff comes out every day so it is impossible to sift through it all myself to be able to recommend something to help get his thinking straight. He keeps asking for something to read but I am at a loss.

Thanks!
Debbie

Debbie,

If he did body for life, he is probably ready for an e-book like the ones I sell on my site.

Tom Venuto's -Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle
Will Brink's - Fat Loss Revealed
or
Will Brinks' Body Building Revealed.

Granted these aren't "Hold in your hand, dog ear the page" physical books but they are loaded with great information that is pretty cutting edge. Especially when you consider B4L was 10 - 15 years ago!

I recommend all personal trainers to look into these e-books, sign up to be an affiliate and sell them through their websites! It's a piece of cake and the kickback isn't bad either!

I would steer him clear of any book made by a celebrity trainer who trained Oprah or Dr. Phil. LOL Smile

Good luck!

Dave
