I am new to the fitness field but I plan on sitting for the ACSM HFS exam. I see that the general consensus is the certification review book and the guidelines to exercise testing. Does anybody have any thoughts on the resources for the personal trainer book since I am new to this? Or will the other two books I mentioned above suffice? I've looked at the resources manual before and it just seems way over the top.
(I do have a working knowledge of anatomy/physiology already)
