    Default Knowledge Required to Pass

I just started and I'm trying to familiarize myself with all of the muscles involved in movements ie. Scapulothoracic Fixation involves serratus anterior, pectoralis minor, trapezius, levator scapulae, rhomboids. Am I doing the right thing or is this too much?
Also, behavior modification, motivational tools, etc required? Thank God I found this site! Thianks

Hi there and welcome to Fitness ThinkTank!

I think you'll find lots of study tips posted in the ACSM section of the forum. In the meantime, here are some links to recent posts where I've answered very similar questions to yours:

Another "how to study" ACSM question

When to take ACSM workshop, how to begin studying...

Hope this helps and good luck with your studying!

Hey, thanks for the info. I've already exhausted the forum's resources, I was just wondering if knowing "Scapulothoracic Fixation involves serratus anterior, pectoralis minor, trapezius, levator scapulae, rhomboids" would be too much or if this is exactly what I need to know. Thanks!

All I can say is that it's fair game.

Just so you are aware, specific questions and answers regarding any of the certification exams are not permitted on this forum. Really knowing the KSAs will help you narrow your focus in addition to all of the other study tips provided here.
