Default are australian qualifications recognised in america

I am a personal trainer in sydney australia, i have my cert III and IV and have nearly finished my diploma, i have also done my cert IV in remedial massage, a boxing insructors course and a couple of kettlebell workshops.
I have just started getting into the crossfit workouts and would like to maybe go to the USA to get my crossfit cert I and maybe try to get some work over there if i can get a working visa... Would my qualifications be recognised over in america or would i have to do the certification courses over there and if i did which one would be the best one to do?
I would be stoked if anyone could help answer any of those questions.

    Hi Sarah,

Here in the USA, the most reputable certifying organizations are ACSM, NSCA, NASM and ACE. You seem like you have good amount of education and experience in pt so I don't think you will have alot of problem finding a job. However some health clubs really like to hire trainers who have obtained certifications from the organizations that they like. They are usually ACSM and NSCA. The place that hired me only hires ACSM and NSCA certified trainers.

btw, I also do crossfit and I absolutely love it.
    ACSM-cPT
