    Default Submission of Documents..

    Hi,
I passed my ACSM-CPT Exam 3 weeks back. Do the ACSM require me to forward the CPR/AED certification and High School Diploma for the processing of the certification? I haven't received any intimation save for the congratulatory fax after the exam. Am I getting restless or does it take a long time to get the certification in hand?

    Hi Abbi,

Did you get this question answered? I cannot remember whether or not I had to show proof of a CPR certification. I know that I did NOT have to show proof of a high school diploma.

Back after an extended vacation I suppose? .. Yeap I got in touch with the ACSM National Centre. They will ask for the CPR and the Diploma only if I'm considered for the audit process. About 30% of the candidates are randomly selected for audit, and only then will I be asked for the docs. Whats happening at your end? Roving Gym?

    Glad you figured it out!

Well, you could say I'm on vacation. A hurricane hit near Houston and we do not have power. (Not sure how much you have heard about Hurricane Ike in Bangalore.) We had plans to go to Colorado this week so we headed here on Monday by car. I'm in a hotel room in Colorado while many people are toughing it out in my community with no power and limited gasoline and food supplies running short. (This is nothing of course in comparison to the people who've lost their homes or worse.) Personal training will be on hold until everything is back to normal. I am pretty concerned how the hurricane is going to impact the local economy. Without power people cannot go to work yet they still need to make mortgage and car payments. Personal training is not a top priority for people right now. We'll see how things turn out.

By the way, I got one of my NSCA texts before the storm but the other was supposed to be delivered the day before but did not show up. Did you get yours yet?
